INTIRRAYMI HATUN QOSQO RITUALISTIC EVENT 2010
FIRST INTIRRAYMI BY MUSICIANS FROM CUSCO BASED IN THE UK.
On the 18th June Intirraymi- ritual to the sun was celebrated at the Bolivar Hall in London; by the most representative musicians from cusco: Dante Concha- Amaru III, Alex Alfaro, Paloma Palomino, Sofia Buchuck and Killa Raymi.
Intirraymi or ritual to the Inca main god the sun, is celebrated yearly on the 24the June at Saqsayhuaman in Cusco-Peru.
This ritual has a unique connection with the cosmic energy; this is a bridge between man and nature, within the solstice calendar. This event celebrates the traditions on dances, music, Andean rituals wich characterizes the ancestral cultures of the Americas.
The show started with a Gregorian song- Hanac Pacha in celebration of life and the divine.
Juan Herrera this year- Inka king in London and the Inka priest- Dante Concha, conjured the gods with coca leaves, also including the audience participation, together with dancers and collective participacipation of musicians: this was an opportunity to ask for peace, prosperity and unity.
Each artist presented a solo of charangos( Andean string instrument) and Quenas (flutes). Sofía Buchuck dedicated a poem to – WIRACOCHA, mother of gods, Cuzco from R Bohorgues and her show Killa Raymi- adoration to the moon reaffirming the duality of energies where feminine-masculine forces of the Andean Cosmo vision.
Traditional melodies from the Cusco festivity close the event unifying this wonderful brotherhood of musicians.
The dances were presented by- Expresion Inka a new dance and theatre group lead by Leily Horna as part of the popular traditions.
Alex Alfaro one of the magnificent guitarist was also present together with, Jaime Hoyos, Paco Palomino and the Peruvian mime José Navarro and his puppets.
The prominent and fist Peruvian band in the UK ”Apu or sacred mountain” delivered an extraordinary performance, finally closing the event with a ancestral song “Kachampa ” The positive energy was felt, wich the public interpreted as a great opportunity to reinitiate this year with prosperity. PRIMER INTIRRAYMI POR CUSQUENOS EN LONDRES
El 18 de Junio se llevo a cabo en el Bolívar Hall el intirraymi con los grupos más destacados en Londres, entre ellos Dante Concha- Amaru III, Alex Alfaro, Paloma Palomino, Sofia Buchuck y el grupo andino -Killa Raymi. Intirraymi o ritual al sol se realiza anualmente en el Cuzco capital inca; todos los 24 de junio, en la explanada de Saqsayhuaman en una reconexión con la energía tutelar y llevar a cabo esa unión entre el hombre y el cosmos dentro del calendario de solsticios. Es además una celebración de las costumbres, danzas, y rituales andinos que caracterizan anuestrasulturas milenarias.
El show se inicio el antiguo Hanac Pacha - canto a la vida o el canto a lo divino.
El Inka- Juan Herrera y el Cura Andino Dante Concha, iniciaron con hojas de coca y la participación colectiva con músicos, danzantes y calla colectiva( donde se pudo pedir por la prosperidad, la union y la paz).
Cada artista dio solos de charangos y Quenas. Sofía Buchuck aperturo con – WIRACOCHA, madre de dioses, Cuzco del maestro R Bohorgues y Killa Raymi- reafirmando la dualidad – femenino-masculino en la cosmovisión andina.
Melodías típicas del Intirraymi cerraron en un colectivo de músicos peruanos y cusquenos que dieron este homenaje.
Las danzas a cargo del grupo de danza y teatro “Expresión Inca” a cago de Leyli Horna dieron un aire muy precioso con vestuarios de distintas regiones cusquenas revalorando nuestro legado y tradicion popular.
Estuvo en escena el excellente guitarrista Alex Alfaro, Paco Palomino, José Navarro con las marionetas, Jaime Hoyos.
El “Grupo Apu” lleno de magia con temas de su elenco musical, cerrando con un tema muy ancestral el “Kachampa del Cuzco” .
Se sintio una energia que emergio con mucho amor, posivismo que el publico interpreto como un buen augurio de bienestar para iniciar este ciclo anual. Haylli Peru, Haylli Qosqo, Haylli tiahuanacu, Haylli Latino America.
